SEED: Adult Social Skills Program

Holding Hands has developed an adult social skills relationship-based program centered on the following 5 principles: Self-Advocacy, Empowerment, Education,  , and Support. S.E.E.D.S. is a 16-week comprehensive social skills training program designed for high-functioning adults between the ages of 19-40 with social-emotional deficits. In addition to the 16-week curriculum lessons, each client will have the opportunity to meet with his/her therapist for a total of 6 one-on-one sessions to work on his/her individual needs, individual goals, or areas of concern. The program utilizes evidence-based practices with ecological valid topics.

Where and When are the services held? All sessions are held at one of our family orientated centers in Los Angeles or Burbank. Please refer to the class schedule below. Each group is 90 minutes in duration and each consumer is eligible for an additional 6 (1:1) sessions for 90 minutes to work on the client’s individual needs.

How can I get funding for the program? S.E.E.D.S can be paid privately or may also be vendored through local Regional Centers: Please refer to the class schedule.
